Cheat Sheet: Things You Need To Consider Before Getting A Fringe

It's a hairstyle that never gets old. The trends may change, but the fringe has become a chic 'do stylish girls can sport all year round. Having the perfect fringe is every girl's dream, but maintaining it isn't always easy. We've heard many horror stories and traumatizing experiences from different women, but who's to stop you from getting those bangs, right? Sure, a girl with a fringe looks cute and edgy and we want to look like our yeppeuns in our fave K-Dramas, just keep in mind these things you have to consider before going for the cut!

1.) Having to wake up early. Say goodbye to your wake-up-and-go routine. If you're a wash-and-wear kind of gal, getting bangs will require some adjusting. Styling your hair may take up more time than usual, so make sure to set your alarm a little bit earlier!

2.) Mastering hair drying. If you want those flawless looking bangs, you'll have to forego air drying and use a blow dryer instead. Make sure you have it ready right after taking a shower!

3.) Keeping a brush at hand. Never ever leave it at home. Otherwise, your fringe might be your mortal enemy all day. A good round brush is all you need to keep your bangs looking 100% at school 'til your last class. If you're the type of person who doesn't brush her hair throughout the day, think twice!

4.) Getting zits on your forehead. One of the biggest cons of having a fringe? The pimples you get on your forehead. Make sure to keep your hair clean all the time and wash your face religiously to prevent this from happening!

5.) Getting a trim every two to three weeks. If you can go the salon regularly, that's great; if not, you can learn how to trim your fringe by yourself. It's important to make sure that your bangs are always the right length because you don't want it to block our sight!

Getting and maintaining a fringe might seem hard and demanding at first, but once you learn how to take care of it, it can be the best style choice you can make! And, hey, we need to get out of our comfort zones sometimes, right? If you've always wanted to go for the cut, go, girl!
