At MCA Music's previously held GetMusic Indie-Go in Mall of Asia Arena, we got to hang out and catch up with some of today's most sought-after bands and artists. A quirky singer-songwriter, Reese gave fitting advice for every millennial trying to juggle their everyday grind and mastering their craft: “Practice. Don’t be afraid. Go for it and try. Don’t be shy, share your work, and make yourself known,” she says.

“If you know you’re good at it, you have to stick to it,” shares keyboardist and vocalist Kai Honasan. “There’s a lot of people who know how to play, how to write, how to sing; but, then, there’s a lot of people who don’t know who they are.” She adds, “If you’re different and if you feel a little out of place, you’re on the right track.” Well said, Kai!

If you’re serious about forming a band, get out there. Vocalist Mike Constantino shares, “Go out to gigs. The moment you stop going to gigs, that’s the moment you stop learning and getting inspired. That’s the way you get into the scene.”
