Over the weekend, everyone was talking about the Cannes Film Festival—not just because of the films, really, but also because of this particular stunner on the red carpet:
Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai, who was at Cannes for the screening of the film Okja, stole the show in a dazzling icy blue off shoulder ball gown with intricately embroidered silver leaves and beads. Perfection from all angles! What's more notable about this gown, though, especially for us Filipinos, is that it was created by none other than one of our most iconic Filipino designers, Dubai-based Michael Cinco.
"She looks like a real princess in a couture Impalpable Land...The stunning AISHWARYA RAI channeled her inner Cinderella moment in a couture Michael Cinco fully embroidered ball gown from my Impalpable Dream of VERSAILLES Collection," the designer proudly expressed on Instagram.
Besides Rai, other beauties who have donned Cinco's signature haute couture ball gowns were local movie and TV princesses Liza Soberano and Kathryn Bernardo for last year's Star Magic Ball.
