Even with all that's happening in the world right now, the world is still a beautiful and kind place. But there are days when the universe just seems to conspire against you. You wake up in the morning and feel like you've totally lost control over your life, as if the things you're supposed to be doing don't make sense at all. You question every single decision you've made in your life, leading you to think—are you ever going to be good enough?

But here's something we want to tell you: Don't be too hard on yourself. A lot of people end up being anxious because they've been tricked into following what society tells them—to be "cool," "pretty," "important" or "succesful." But you see, you're not meant to be molded into a single ideal, nor are you quantified through your grades, finances, accomplishments, the places you've travelled, and even the likes you get on your Facebook or Instagram accounts.

You are where you are right now for a reason. Each one of us lead our own timelines, so it's time to stop comparing your behind-the-scenes to someone else's highlight reel. What's truly essential in life is your motivation to keep hustling and moving forward no matter how tough life gets. Always keep in mind that no matter how messed up your situation is right now, everything will come together at the right time. Trust in your own pace!

Also remember: Getting things wrong is a sign that you're close to getting it right. And failing at one point is absolutely okay—don't you know it's a key ingredient to success? As long as you learn from it, don't let failures discourage you. It's meant to make you better, not bitter.

When someone belittles your abilities and steps on your dignity, remind yourself that you deserve love and respect. It may not come from other people, but it can definitely come from within you. Your value isn't based on other people's inability to see your worth, so try and learn to stop caring about what others think. No matter how hard it is, start living the life that you've always dreamed of. There will always be people who will disapprove of the things you do (no matter how petty the reason), so there's no point in seeking validation from them.

I hope you know that your thoughts, ideas and feelings matter regardless of the wounds you've acquired and mishaps you've encountered along the way. Your value is not something that you can conform to an arbitrary cultural stereotype of beauty, success or intelligence—your value is found within you through the power of self-recognition and acceptance.

You are stronger than everything that is troubling you. You may not be able to control everything that happens in life, but always remind yourself that the quality of your vision drives the quality of your life.

The choice to become the victim or the victorious lies on you alone. But know this: You are loved. And you are cared for. You are important regardless of who you are, and no amount of validation can eclipse the fact that you are as wonderful, uninhibited, and free as you choose to be. And that simply is enough.
