In celebration of Star Magic's 25th grand anniversary, many of its brightest and biggest stars gathered on ASAP—the country's longest-running musical variety show—last Sunday for an unforgettable party at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Apart from the stellar production numbers, ASAP never fails to showcase the latest and coolest trends through the outfits our fave artists wear, and this particular Sunday was made even more special with Star Magic's anniversary. In fact, the Kapamilya stars' stylists really went all out with this one, going all out with fancy gowns for the red carpet to rock star outfits for the performances.
In case you missed it, or if you just want to see some of the most stylish sets from the event, here are Chalk's picks for the standout looks at the #ASAPStarMagic25 grand party!
This custom gown by Patricia Santos made our Chalk cover girl dazzle on the red carpet. With her ethereal white dress matched with a soft braided updo, Kath looked every inch a Greek goddess! Just gorgeous!
We love how Janella's look has consistently grown and matured over the years, without going beyond what's age-appropriate. Just like this look, which is candy sweet, but still appealing! Keep doing you, girl!
A lot of people have been branding Julia and her sister Claudia as the "Kendall and Kylie Jenner of the Philippines," and we can't help but see Julia's resemblance with Kendall in this nude and camo combo. With her impeccable style and delicate beauty, she really stopped traffic with this outfit! (And can you see her onscreen partner, Joshua Garcia, looking at her from behind? She's just that irresistible!)
Can this screen siren look any lovelier? We can't help but go all heart-eyes-emoji over Liza's classy pastel blue lace dress that had everyone turning heads! As always, Liza opted for minimal makeup so her natural beauty shines through. Seriously, with a face like that, she can launch a thousand ships!
Our first-time Chalk cover girl proves that you can rock any look if you're confident enough in your own skin. Just look at how she made this Star Magic shirt look ultra stylish by matching it with the right accessories. We want to cop that skirt because it suits her to a tee (yes, pun intended)!
We wonder if Grecian goddess was the theme for the red carpet because Erich also looked like one in this elegant nude gown by Patricia Santos. The high slit really showed off her toned legs, too! Wow! This girl proves that you can be sexy, sweet, and classy all at the same time!
Elisse Joson brought some swag to the scene with this military jacket and knee-high boots that really spiced up the afternoon. We love how this fashion forward gal is always game to try out new styles and how she wears each outfit with confidence and ease!
This gorgeous teen just made sleepwear suited for the streets! We're feeling legit Ariana Grande vibes with this outfit—and her morena skin just makes anything she wears look amazing. This girl can do no wrong!
Just like Ylona, BFF5 group member Kira pushed the boundaries of fashion with this Ariana Grande-inspired number. Who knew a silk romper could look super cute when paired with printed socks and heels? Only Kira can pull off this playful and vibrant look!
This girl's stylish evolution since she stepped out of the PBB house has been nothing short of amazing. We love how the ruffles and the collar on this baby doll dress elevate the usual high-low dress into cute and pretty territory. We'd totally want this look for ourselves!
These girls slayed the red carpet, but it was their performance outfits that really set the stage on fire! Their retro, pin-up girl looks were all on point! Each girl gave their own winning interpretation of the '40s and' 50s trend and it all made us go, "Uwian na, may nanalo na. Ginalingan, eh!"
