Today we have a catalog of quick fixes right under our fingertips. For those who can afford them, there are surgeries like gastric bypass and liposuction that’ll suck the fat away. There are also pills, injections, and other options that don’t require you to go under the knife. And while we’re all for doing what makes you happy, we praise these three ladies for, besides getting a little help from the aforementioned, still choose to do things the natural way! The obviously effective formula: Good ol’ fashioned diet and exercise!
Judy Ann Santos. Juday’s body has been through a lot during her three-decade career. While her weight has fluctuated over the years, there’s no denying the effect her varied workouts (boxing, muay thai, and circuit training to name a few) and mindful dieting have had.
And at 39 years old, the mother of three is working hard to get into shape. In a recent press con for Bet On Your Baby, the actress-host revealed that she’s dropped 32 lbs and is close to reaching her goal weight.

Beauty Gonzalez. The 25-year-old Pusong Ligaw star is no stranger to trimming down, having done so to pose half nude for men’s magazines and star in sexy shows like Moon of Desire.
But as revealed in an interview with Dyan Castillejo, she gained 60 lbs after her daughter was born. This led to her experiencing post-partum depression. She has since lost the weight–the beach-ready bod she proudly flaunts on Instagram is all thanks to pylometrics and an increased intake of veggies!
Ria Atayde. Ria’s road to fitness wasn’t always smooth. At her heaviest, she weighed close to 190 lbs. And like many overweight girls, that made her feel insecure. But instead of sulking over how she looked, she took action. The pounds melted off, and at present she weighs just 147 lbs!
In a TV Patrol interview, the 25-year-old actress credited her slimmer figure to working out (as much as three times a day, how about that!) and portion control. But the My Dear Heart star weight loss isn’t just for show. She’s set her sights on a bigger stage: the Miss World Philippines pageant, where she intends to compete and promote her advocacies further.
