Create a Zen-inspired outdoor nook. Maximize your outdoor space by creating a wall seat. You don’t need to worry about shopping for weather-resistant outdoor furniture. Make the space cozy by adding pillows, and set a Zen mood with candles (or, in this case, small fire pits spread around).

Lend an eclectic appeal to your porch. A combination of floor and wall tile designs in your porch, backyard, or garden lends a visually exciting appeal that can calm the senses and put one in the mood for relaxation.

Bring the indoors out. Take in the beauty of your outdoor area from a cozy seating space, where you can bond with family and dine with friends. Choose resort-chic outdoor furniture like a wooden daybed styled with colorful pillows and throw blankets.

Build a cozy corner. Establish a welcoming vibe in your porch, veranda, or lanai. Decorate it with a small wooden outdoor dining set, and liven it up with vibrant seat covers.

Enjoy a garden view from the living room. Position your living room sofa so it faces your garden, and enjoy the beauty of the sunny or star-laden sky from inside the house.

Make your dining bright and vibrant. Invite friends over and entertain in style. Set up a long table in your lanai and dress it up with colorful and printed tablecloth, placemats, and napkins. This easily makes guests feel at home.

Give your bedroom a rustic vibe. Incorporate rustic elements into a bright white room to create a space with a resort feel, making your staycation as perfect as it could be.

Turn your home into a resort-style retreat. If you’re just about to build your house, separate your garden and living area with a sliding door. It would create a seamless connection between the indoor and the outdoor, resulting in one big, happy space that’s perfect for rest and relaxation.
