Cheat Sheet: Summer Beauty Slayin' A La Anne, Liza, Nadine, And Solenn

Summer is slowly slipping away but there's no valid reason to let yourself go in the beauty department. On-point-ness must remain...for as long as the sun is shining, we girls must gleam! Here are four simple summer beauty hacks inspired by four fab mavens who never cease to make heads turn!

For Medium to Long Hair Do the Updo Like Liza Soberano

Tired of getting that sweaty neck? The swept updo is the way to go if that plain old ponytail is looking kind of overused. If your hair is at least barely shoulder length to long you should still be able to do this. We've spotted a couple of tutorial videos that can roughly help you achieve a low maintenance version of Liza's look below. You may need a comb with a teasing wand (the pointy metal end for lifting up sections) and some hair elastics for securing, you can also opt to work in some hair mousse for better hold before you do the style. We've provided access to 2 tutorials: first a classic neat bun and second for looser, messier styles.

Get your lashes noticeably lifted and curled like Anne Curtis.

Anne's doe-eyed beauty, especially on days with less makeup, often makes us weak in the knees. We think that more than any amount of eyeshadow or eyeliner you can put around the eyes for a more natural look curled lashes with a good amount of mascara enhance the eyes more believably. Wrongly applied eyeshadow and eyeliner can tend to turn people off once they notice it while full and curled lashes though with mascara are always a more embraced accent because they look like they're part of you. Below, pro-makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury shows us how lash curling is done and how to properly apply mascara.

Go for bare but glowing skin and lightly defined brows like Nadine Lustre.

Even with summer is more than halfway gone the heat is still on out there.  Layers and layers of heavy makeup are not recommended given the heat and humidity we experience here in the tropics. We still know the irony, there are still products and steps that work their magic to achieve seemingly "bare-looking" but beautiful skin. Below, makeup professional Jigs Mayuga shows us how to achieve a beautiful, non-heavy looking base with layers of light products. In the following vid, Australian vlogger Chloe Morello shows us how to achieve natural non-graphic looking brows.

If going for intense summer makeup, make sure you're bronzed or tan like Solenn Heussaff.

For midsummer nights out, you still may want to intensify your makeup. The key to darker makeup in the summer not looking too off-putting or trying hard is to secure your tan–fake or not. Solenn's makeup look is even more warm and inviting due to her beautiful warm complexion. British celebrity makeup artist, Lisa Eldridge, who's done work for Vogue, Elle, Glamour and other international magazines shows how warm bronzing and makeup work together across different skin tones.
