Booze-Party-Sleep-Repeat: So goes the partyphiles' usual formula flocking to Boracay to celebrate Labor Day. Dubbed as "LaBoracay" to combine "Labor Day" and "Boracay," it's an event of events, annually dotting the shores with almost 24/7 shindigs and sponsored gimmicks. Boracay’s white sands are thus waaay crowded with locals and foreigners out for the wildest weekend of their lives.
For some, however, LaBoracay can be a real fuss. They who will rather enjoy some quiet time at a less popular and populous beach, a real treat of nature without the crowds and pollution (all kinds you could think of). And then there are some who will pay for anything less mainstream but still something fun and surprise-filled like LaBoracay. This long weekend, are you in the hunt for a separate paradise that'll offer the same–or different–kind of escape? Check out these alternatives!
