In Focus: How These Celebrity Kids Impressed Asia With Their Digital Good Vibes

"Influencer" is a word so loosely thrown around, that sometimes, you don't know anymore who's legit and who isn't (who's buying followers or not? whose photos online really showcase how they look like in real life?). We'll save that debate for another day, though—we'd like to focus on those who are actually spreading authentic inspiration using their digital platforms. Four millennials who come from prominent families but are carving their own niche by being online-savvy with a heart.

Myx VJ and host Donny Pangilinan, YouTuber Gabs Gibbs, model Kaila Estrada, and blogger Jake Ejercito don't only have awesome feeds, but quality content and the vision to spread good vibes and help other people become their best selves. So much so that they were recognized by Asia's largest social media awards, Influence Asia 2017, as some of the frontrunners in various categories: Gabs for Beauty, Donny and Kaila for Breakout Influencer of the Year, and Jake for the Lifestyle category.

How impressive are these young ones and their wisdom exactly?

1. Gabs isn't afraid to break free from the norm to create unusual content that she knows her followers will benefit from, like this "How to Transform Yourself into a Guy" tutorial:

But she also knows how to give back to momma.

2. Donny isn't afraid to proclaim his faith online. His Instagram bio states: "Glory is all His." He's also not afraid to get all cheesy when it comes to family.

This person literally means the world to me. Just felt like sharing a few things about her. Not many people know the effect she has had in my life. Ito po si Mamang, my great grandmother - and yes, she is still alive and very strong. But she is much more than just my great grandmother. She is my best friend. My family used to live in QC and she lived with us from day 1. She watched me grow and took care of the children when my parents were busy. She'd accompany me to all my activities from tennis practice to school clubs - or even just when I would walk around our village in the afternoon and needed a companion. She'd tell me so many people stories - and I would look forward to them everyday. My favorite ones were those from the World War II - they were so exciting and detailed with her experiences as a kid (bombings, surviving this attack, etc). Among all the members in our family, it was the two of us who were the closest. She had this unique, powerful effect on me that no one had. She has the kindest heart and was willing to do anything for me - even if it meant her having to exert all her energy just to see me happy. When everyone was busy and I needed someone to play with or talk to - Mamang was there. She knew the exact words to say to put a smile on my face when I was down. She was the last one to give up on me - and believed in me like no one else did. Even at age 85, she still finished many Fun Runs and won so many awards as oldest finisher, which made everyone look up to her even more. As time passed, my family moved houses and she started living with her daughter instead (my lola) since it was easier for her, taking all things in consideration. I was not able to see her everyday anymore. Her dementia also started to get more serious - and now she barely remembers a lot of things like our names and past happenings. If we're lucky she will say "Hi Don" (what she used to call me) and it would make everyone smile. This woman turns 94 today. And even if she barely recognizes me now, I was in shock with what she told me when I visited her yesterday. "Mahal na mahal pa rin kita kahit malayo na tayo sa isa't isa." Happy birthday Mamang! I love you ??

And then of course, there are those moves of his you'd just want to cop.

3. Kaila may look all sweet and dainty, but she's sure game to rough it up and get a bit dirty in the spirit of fun (and Pinoy festival celebrations).

That was fun, Iloilo! 'Til next time ?? #SMYouthDinagyang

And even if she's got a slim frame, she knows that healthy living is a must, and is a really good fitspo to young women.

Thank you coach @hit_man_dan for adding that "Good Job" moment for the vid lol ?? #justgothit

4. Despite all the controversies that shrouded him, Jake has always had a good grasp of the important things in life. Come on, we bet you swooned over this sweet declaration...

I'll slay all your dragons for you, my princess

Family matters so much to Jake, even if he's also out exploring the world on his own.

27 on 27! Cheers to all those who remembered! Skrrrt

This world (online and real-life) needs more of them, don't you think? Those who wield their influence and power responsibly.
