Gone are the days when women were relegated to traditional, domestic roles or were considered secondary to their male counterparts. Modern Filipinas live in a world of endless opportunity, and are embracing their empowered selves to be heard and make a mark wherever they choose.
J. Walter Thompson recently revealed their findings of their insight study on modern Pinays during International Women’s Day on March 8. Aptly entitled, “Filipina Next,” there was also a panel discussion that invited women leaders from different sectors (media, sports, politics, business, and art, to name a few) to share their personal thoughts on issues surrounding women.
