In Focus: Musician Rob Mananquil's Condo Makes Black, White, And Grey Look So Good

The next time you think that black white, and grey are “boring” colors, you'll surely reconsider after seeing musician Rob Mananquil’s condo.

While the guitarist of Pinoy rock band Pulso has a penchant for the color black, he puts a spin on his favorite color when it comes to the interiors of his condo unit in Rockwell. For starters, there are these statement pillows found in his living room area.

The quotes on those statement pillows reflect Rob’s optimistic outlook on life.

While his space has wooden floors clad in brown, Rob chose to decorate this space with black and grey—from the carpet and the couch, to his yoga mat and the artwork hung above his couch. Glass tables complete the design of his living room area, along with some of his musical instruments and audio equipment.

Minimalism and sophistication, all in one place.
Rob’s living area is spacious enough for him to do impromptu music practices, or yoga sessions with girlfriend, actress Maxene Magalona.

Another cool furniture item in Rob’s condo? His black-and-white checkerboard-themed cabinet, which he uses to store some of his belongings, along with a few books.

Deviating from his dominant black and grey motif, various frames containing different poster art grace the wall of his bedroom.

Among one of his favorite artists? Bob Dylan.

Just like Maxene’s condo unit, one of the things Rob raves about is the view of the Makati skyline that his place offers. Who wouldn't want a majestic sight of sunrise and sunsets every day, right?
