Cheat Sheet: Make Your Trips Way More Fun With These Tips Inspired By Karylle's Travels

She is the epitome of a woman who lives a well-balanced life. Aside from being one of the hosts of noontime show It’s Showtime, Karylle has also got other roles to play that is of a wife, a daughter, a sister, an all-around performer, and an international actress who have starred in TV shows and musicals abroad. Just recently, she flew to Singapore to shoot Private Investigator, an upcoming Singaporean drama series with her as the lead (talk about world-class Pinoy talent!). But be it for work or for leisure, Karylle, whenever she travels, always makes the most of it. And with that, here are some tips inspired by her travels as seen on Instagram, that you sure will find useful.

Tip #1: Be #OOTD-ready all the time. When traveling, it's best to look your best even if you're just going to the grocery store, as you might just stumble upon a beautiful scenery, a historical building, or even a graffiti wall that makes for an ideal background for an #OOTD photo.

Tip #2: Don’t be afraid to explore. Those who travel frequently will often suggest that you fly to your city of destination blindly unaware of what to expect. Though it's also fun to plan things ahead, sometimes it's also cool to just roam around the city or country and discover hidden gems of a place along the way.

Karylle's relatives took her to one of the best spots in Singapore with a stunning view of Marina Bay Sands.

Tip #3: Be adventurous when it comes to food. Some people might say that it's wise not to touch food that you're not familiar with, especially when you're in a foreign land. But then again, how would know what's good and what's not unless you try it yourself, right? Therefore, we suggest that you go for it and give it a try. Remember, the locals are eating it, so it can't be dangerous.

Tip #4: Squeeze time to work out. Now, when you're traveling it's easy to make excuses to not work out, but that shouldn't be the case. In fact, it's during those times that you need to hit the gym the most, what with all the yummy food that you will be eating all throughout your trip.

Tip #5: Don’t forget to bring protection from the sun. Unless you don't mind getting hyperpigmintation and dark spots all over your face, then never ever forget to bring sunblock, hats, and umbrellas to protect you from the harmful rays of the sun. You wouldn't want to come home with damaged skin, would you?

Tip #6: Take lots of photos. This is the best souvenir, ever as it's a great way to look back on that day you took them and reminisce the fun and crazy experience you had on that trip. So don't forget to bring your camera and a fully-charged smartphone with you, and just keep on clicking!
