In Focus: Facial Hair For The Win—How This Swoon-Worthy Feature Can Help Men Make A Difference

Guys, the rules are simple: Put down your razor for 30 days and donate your monthly hair-maintenance expenses to the cause.

Every month of November, men across the world unite for what we now all know as No-Shave November, According to the official No-Shave November website, the event is “a month-long journey in which participants forego shaving and grooming to evoke conversation and raise cancer awareness.”

The movement began in 2009 when the Chicagoland family, the Hills, decided to use it to raise money for charity after their father Matt Hill lost his battle with colon cancer. From there, his eight children decided to do something in his honor and started the whole No-Shave November campaign and website

Its goal is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. Donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to fund education about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle. And even if it isn't November, you can always still help.

But now that facial hair for men seems to be a relatively prominent trend in the country, we've also compiled a list of dapper dudes who might just convince you to embrace men with scruff (that is, if you aren't head over heels in love with them yet).

While he's a total cutie without a beard, Sam Milby has been sporting his facial hair for quite some time, yet we still find it super attractive. And we definitely enjoy seeing him go back and forth donning a beard and clean shaven. Who says pretty boys can't rough it up?

We think we can all agree that regardless of his facial hair status, everything about journalist Atom Araullo screams eye candy. But when he's got his very brooding-looking facial hair? Totally to-die-for.

Erwan Heussaff's perfectly groomed beard makes his uber gwapo face a tad more interesting (then again, he's still very handsome even without it).

Growing a mustache and beard is not an excuse to look messy and unkempt. AJ Dee's beard worked with a semi-formal vest and outfit because it's shaped and well taken care of. He sure knows the power of a good beard, no?

Leave it to actor Jake Cuenca to make the combo of long hair and facial hair look incredibly sexy, and a beard really suits him well. Whether he shaves off his beard or lets it grow, he is sure to sweep you off your feet. But of course, the more of that handsome face we see, the better so we're lovin' this minimalist scruff right here.

While many guys look like it would take them weeks of concentrated effort to get a scraggly soul patch, Billy Crawford makes it look effortless!

Model John Spainhour knows style. And while he usually goes for a clean cut or lighter scruff, we think full-on facial is a winner on him.

Football player Anton del Rosario frequently goes back and forth between his cleaned-up look and his lumberjack style—and just looks good either way.
