Healthy Green Cucumber and Mint Shake
Serves 1 to 2
1 cup cucumber, skin on, seeded and sliced
1/4 cup spinach leaves
1 Fuji apple, skin on, cored and sliced
1/4 cup mint leaves
2 tablespoons honey
1 cup water
1 cup ice cubes
1. Place all ingredients in a blender.
2. Blend to reach desired consistency. Taste and add more honey if needed.
3. Pour in a glass and serve cold.
Make it fresh and tangy: Keep your green shake as fresh as possible—blend the ingredients only when you’re ready to serve or drink. And if you don’t have fresh mint leaves available, use fresh ginger instead to add zing to this refreshing power drink.
