We love using emojis to express our feelings better through social media, so it just feels right to dedicate a day to celebrate our love for those cute graphic icons we love sending to our friends.
World Emoji Day is celebrated every 17th of July, and the date of choice is based on Apple iOS’ calendar emoji, which displays the said date. On the first year this unconventional holiday is celebrated (yes this 2016!), the internet got really creative in paying tribute to the world’s fastest growing language.
