Dining Delight: Selfies with the Wild? Yes, It's Possible at This Zoo-Themed Cafe

The wild ones have invaded the urban jungleliterally. Want to know what we mean? Well, we spotted two white tigers and a panda having a cozy tea break in a coffee shop in Makati...

...And another panda sipping on a tall Frappe.

Curious? We were, so we wentto Zoo Coffee, the first zoo-themed coffee shop in Manila. It seems that our jungle friends have found a den in the city, perhaps for a caffeine fix and a serving of fresh waffles or to just hangout and spread their cuteness among the coffee shop's other guests. But we're not complaining. We'll probably welcome more animals if they're as cuddly as these ones inside the shop.

What more can we expect from Zoo Coffee aside from the "wildlife"?

Korean-inspired menu. Apart from the usual lattes and frappes, Zoo Coffee crafted a special drinks menu called I'm Korean. Try Iced Pomegranate Tea, Black Bean & Roast Grain Drink or Steamed Red Ginseng Honey Latte on your first visit, and watch yourself become a fan from the first taste. Bingsu and Honey Bread also top our list, although a serving of their waffles or sandwiches should not be missed, too.

Interesting interiors. A giraffe will welcome you outside, and the feel of the jungle awaits you inside. Wooden furniture dominates the place (a very Korean detail), chic display of twinkling lights, and yes, animals prints galore on the walls!

Lots of photo ops! Our jungle buddies will stand by a chair near you, waiting for you to ask him for a selfie or two. Show the world how you love sharing your food to themall of them are tame and snuggly and lovable so, hey, who can resist?
