Ever since he started office, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been making waves in changing the way politics is managed, from creating a gender-balanced cabinet to giving aid to Syrian refugees, and in large part, promoting his advocacy for gender equality, which include LGBT rights.
In this realm, Trudeau did something no Canadian Prime Minister has ever done before: Participate in the Toronto's Pride Day parade.
Aside from marching together with thousands of participants waving Pride Day-themed Canadian flags, there was no denying that Trudeau enjoyed his time with the members of the LGBT community, a move that added up to the list of reasons why he is a role model not just for Canadians, but for leaders, and everyone, around the world.
