The Guinness Book of World Records recently bestowed another accolade to our beloved nation: The title for "World's Largest Coat Hanger," which was awarded to H&M Philippines' attention-grabbing, fire-engine-red-hued installation which they launched in line with the opening of their Ayala Center Cebu store.
“We want to communicate that fashion has dropped literally straight from fashion heaven. And we believe in bringing fashion to everyone. We wanted to make sure that we open in Cebu. And open big time! In fact Ayala Center Cebu is the biggest store in Southeast Asia,” says Gino Cruz, Marketing Manager of H&M Philippines.
The record-breaking hanger is a 50 x 50 foot installation, and took one month to build.
