"Fashion fades, but style is forever."
This is the mantra that celebrity stylist Myrrh Lao To lives by. Chic, unique pieces assembled in accordance to each client’s personal style and the occasion which the ensemble will be worn to results in perfectly curated looks that make his muses stand out. With his easy, fresh, wearable, and very collaborative perspective in dressing, it's no wonder he's now one of the most sought-after names in the industry.
While surely it took him years before he made it to the top, it’s well worth it—working as assistant to Pam Quiñones before, he believes, “served as the most proper foundation any aspiring styling could ever wish for.”
And now the spotlight is on him. During the Manila X Fashion and Music Festival, his segment, which showcased Coachella-inspired styles, succinctly achieved his goal to achieve easygoing, free-spirited looks that are very bohemian and festive at the same time.

Taking his show up a notch were his celebrity muses like Angel Locsin and Ylona Garcia, who strutted the catwalk wearing soft chiffon and lace pieces in black and white. His choices for the stars he styled that night were developed from his vision of how he wants the audience to understand dressing up—that you can pull off elegant garb that's realistic and wearable, and were showcased through many different styling ideas they can do themselves.
Myrrh captions on his IG post, "I still couldn't get over my #ManilaX experience with these beautiful women I'm proud to call my muses—every time I do, I get kilig and think that I must've done something good to deserve this kind of support!"
