Lifestyle Hotshots: Tonito de Ocampo on Work-Life Balance, and Having Fun While You're at It

He's shy yet he attracts attention. By impression, he seems like the mysterious type, but when he smiles, it instantly lights up the room. It's no wonder girls came trotting behind him after being spotted at the Lee Min Ho meet-and-greet event; which came as a surprise to this heartthrob. "Humbled is the right word. I really don’t know how to react, but I appreciate it," he says.

Albeit already leading a well-rounded life at 22, he's not the type to boast of his status—juggling advertising, frisbee (his sport!) and (eventually) modeling; instead, he still continues to play his cards well. Definitely not the typical millenial, as aside from these keeping him always busy, he already has other upcoming plans. "I wanna make a name for myself," he explains. "Like have my own business on the side. Not pretty sure of what yet, but it's somewhere in the lines of having a resto bar because I’m a big fan of food and having a few drinks and catch up with my friends"

As much as possible, though, he tries not to burn himself out. He knows how to destress, too—and he shares his tried-and-tested tips:

1. Go out and get some sun. Basking under the warmth of the sun energizes your spirit, mind, and body. For someone who plays frisbee, Tonito has learned the importance of a good relationship with the sun. Just don't forget to slather on sunblock, of course!

2. Dress comfortably. His casual yet polished style never fails. His wardrobe consists of simple items: Plain shirts or polos, jeans and sneakers. With a lot on his plate, dressing up is the last thing to add to his stress.

3. Find the perfect place to hangout with friends and make it your regular rendezvous. As mentioed, this cutie understands the importance of unwinding and catching up with the barkada, reason why he plans to put up his own restobar with that goal in mind. Gather your group and make it a weekly or monthly thing—it will surely help in clearing your mind!
