Barbadian R&B artist Rihanna may be he “good girl gone bad" and “badgal RiRi” (which incidentally is her Instagram username) to many because of her partying habits. #YOLO moments, and risque music videos, but this girl has a big heart!
In a report by Buzzfeed, amidst her ongoing world tour for her latest album Anti, she has been helping out a fan (who wishes to remain anonymous) to come out of the closet for a month. The fan shared screencaps of his DMs to Rihanna when he was asking for help regarding his sexuality. The pop star’s advice? “Baby it’s okay to be scared, but it’s more important to be who you are!” Rihanna said in the DM to him:
Her support and counseling to the said fan did not stop there! Rihanna DMed the fan to get updates on his coming out to his friends, and to the fan’s joy, things have been going great:
Rihanna is more than proud of her fan for being honest and open about his sexuality. "I'm glad to see you finally happy with yourself!!!" She remarked.
We won't be surprised if Rihanna will gain more fans from the LGBT community because of this kindhearted gesture.
