Mother Earth is calling everyone (yes, including you) to join the fight for climate change. Whether it may be through music, exhibits, bike runs, or pledges, everyone can help out and show their concern for the environment during International Earth Day, by joining Earth Day Jam 2016.
“It is not just the music, but the message that we all have to be united and make our efforts to heal Mother Earth more significant,” said Lou Bonnevie, founder and organizer of Earth Day Jam.
New additions to this year’s edition include an afternoon bike ride headed by Firefly Brigade, where they will be promoting the use of bicycles by biking from CCP Complex to SM Mall of Asia Arena, and an exhibit hosted by DENR and various NGOs, where visitors can engage in various activities and pledge in preserving the environment. Also, award-winning all-female band Flying Ipis, who recently performed at South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in the United States, will be joining the many artists who will be performing during the event.
Admission is free, so join Bonnevie and other environment advocates on April 23, 5PM at SM by the Bay.
