1. Siama Hotel
Design characteristics: This hotel’s nature-inspired architecture that blend elements of wood, glass, and concrete seamlessly makes its visitors feel like they are staying in the middle of the forest. Owned and designed by Milo Naval, the fusion of indigenous materials with man-made materials (the nipa hut was a source of inspiration for Naval) gives the hotel a rustic contemporary feel. Those staying in Naval's resort masterpiece should try out the rattan pedicabs, and not miss striking a pose at the large hammock adorning the hotel's salinated pool.

2. Acuatico Beach Resort
Design characteristics: The Rommel Dionisio-designed resort’s standout feature is its infinity pool, which has an exquisite granite stone tile flooring, set against the backdrop of the lovely Batangas sea. The resort also takes inspiration from Balinese design and used organic materials for the pavilions found within the compound. It's not a surprise that this place is a popular choice when it comes to wedding venues and prenup shoot locations!

3. Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar
Design characteristics: This location feels like a literal time machine, as its buildings faithfully resemble the Spanish mansions and stone houses during the Spanish occupation, characterized by the use of solid stone foundations, tiled roofs, floors made out of wood, and capiz shells for its windows. What makes this area unbelievable is how they transplanted these houses from various locations around the Philippines, and reassembled piece by piece, until the transplanted houses are fully restored back to their original glory.

4. Camp Netanya
Design characteristics: Camp Netanya’s overall design closely resembles Santorini, Greece, an island that is much-loved by tourists for its beautiful landscape. Those visiting this place will be in awe of its nautical theme, with its predominantly white and blue interiors, the brick roofs of the villas, and the way the villas are placed in a slope, just like in Santorini.
Notable guests: It’s still relatively new (they are undergoing renovations), but we will not be surprised if celebrities would start flocking here!
