The Six Fix: Cool Event Places to Follow on Social Media

Looking to make sure you are up to date with the hippest events in Metro Manila? Here are six event venues we suggest you follow on both their Facebook and Instagram pages. Take note, we said event venues, which means there are no clubs and restaurants on this list, only collaborative spaces that are fast becoming popular for being homes of various events. Click that follow and like button, because you'll never know if they have an event that will catch your attention (and for sure they will):

1. A Space Gallery (Instagram: @Aspacemanila)

Space characteristics: It has an industrial feel (thanks to those exposed pipes on the ceiling), with interiors that are predominantly white.

Follow them for: Events the hipster crowd would love, which include solo and group art exhibits, jamming sessions, and art/photography workshops

Space characteristics: Industrial, as this place used to be a warehouse

Follow them for: Underground parties, and to get a feel of the underground music scene

4. Whitespace (Instagram: @whitespacemnl)

 Global Mala Manila 2015 at Whitespace


Space characteristics: Large, with predominantly white interiors and a touch of retro on its windows

Follow them for: Large gatherings like conventions, yard sales, and group fitness activities

Notable events: Kawaii Convention, Spectrum Fair Manila, Global Mala Project

5. Office Project Coworking Studio (Instagram: @theofficeprojectph)

Space characteristics: A mix of wood and bare concrete for its walls, furniture, and interior details

Follow them for: Workshops that can help hone your skills in arts and crafts, and career empowerment talks to help you with your passion projects

Notable Events: Workshops on creating succulent dish gardens, hand lettering workshops, various talks on design and layout

6. The Open Space PH (Instagram: @theopenspace)

 Obra de Amore art exhibit at The Open Space PH.


Space characteristics: Dominant white interiors with a contemporary style

Follow them for: Garage and yard sales, food bazaars and pop ups (food trucks included), and small art exhibits for up-and-coming artists

Notable Events: Food Truck Fest, Art is Limitless, Obra de Amore exhibit
