Being the best you can be is a daily, multi-faceted journey—one that’s best enjoyed rather than stressed about. It can be quite challenging to make the most out of the process though, especially for you teenagers—even popular personalities like Claudia Barretto, Alyssa Valdez, Nicole Andersson, and Patricia Prieto didn’t have it easy in school growing up, what with peer pressure and all the schoolwork. The good news is, they overcame those obstacles, and they’re sharing how they did it so you can gain the confidence to shape your future, too.
Now on its third year, #TeenWeekPH brings together Claudia, Alyssa, Nicole, and Patricia, and other top youth influencers and leaders like actress Jasmine Curtis, Kapamilya love team Manolo Pedrosa and Maris Racal, bloggers Vern and Verniece Enciso, Kryz Uy, and Laureen Uy, DLSU volleyball player Mika Reyes, PBA player Chris Tiu, boy band Chicser, and actor and heartthrob Enrique Gil for a series of personal hygiene and personal development workshops aimed to empower teenagers all over the country to be the best they can be. The award-winning program (it has been recognized by the Anvil Awards, Tambuli Awards and the Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards) is very dedicated to teach teens the importance of proper hygiene and personal development to boost their self-esteem, in turn inspiring them to craft clearer ambitions and to work harder towards their goals.
Co-created with personal care brands Pond’s, Creamsilk, and Rexona, in partnership with Clear and Master, #TeenWeekPH will hold the workshops in 125 schools all over the Philippines with fun booths that tackle each day of the week: #MoveUpMonday, all about puberty and adolescence; #TransformTuesday, which touches on beauty and self-esteem; #WorkItWednesday, focused on building confidence in relation to being active and living a healthy lifestyle; #ThinkBigThursday, which stresses the importance dreaming big and chasing goals; and #FutureFriday, dedicated to tips on forging lasting friendships and building relationships.
