
Grilled Pork Steak and Corn
Serves 6
Ingredients:
6 pork steak slices
1/2 cup melted butter
3 ears corn on the cob, sweet corn variety, parboiled and sliced into thirds
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
red pepper flakes (optional)
Procedure:
1. Brush pork steak with melted butter. Use another basting brush and the remaining melted butter for the corn cobs.
2. Combine salt, paprika, chili powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes, if using. Rub all over pork steak. Sprinkle the same spices over corn.
3. Heat grill and cook pork first on both sides until golden. Follow with the corn and cook until grill marks appear on the kernels. Serve right away.
