1. Richard Branson Live in Manila

What to expect: Best known as the founder of Virgin Group, Sir Richard Branson will be sharing his words of wisdom and years of experience as an entrepreneur, having businesses from various industries which include transport, healthcare, media, and many more.

Must-do: Being an active and hands-on workshop, be ready to apply your learnings from Aranaz’ human-centric design thinking to your own current (or future) business!

3. Let it Be Great: The Best of the Beatles

What to expect: For one night, go on a walk down memory lane as you listen to the best songs of The Beatles like “Yesterday”, “Hey Jude”, “Here Comes the Sun,” and many more.

Must-listen: The Manila Symphony Orchestra, along with a few local talents, will be giving their own version of iconic songs from the Beatles, while you enjoy a few cocktails.

4. Basey Mat Weaving Demonstration

What to expect: As part of National Heritage Month, they will be having a mat weaving workshop led by weavers from Basey, Samar.

Must-try: Interact with the mat weavers themselves (there will be three, namely Rosa Imba, Behtalonia Bacayo, and Lolita Forones), and try this heritage craft yourself!

Head over to: National Museum, P. Burgos Drive, Rizal Park, Manila, from May 26-27, 10AM to 5PM (Free admission).

 

5. YouTube FanFest Manila 2016

What to expect: 13 of the world’s notable YouTubers will be entertaining thousands of fans at this annual gathering, where they will be showing their talents in comedy, beauty, music, and dance. 

Must-do: Get to meet top Filipino Youtubers Gab Valenciano, Lloyd Cadena, Mikey Bustos, Abra, and Bogart the Explorer in the flesh, and learn life lessons from their rise to fame as content creators.

Head over to: World Trade Center, Pasay City, on May 27, 6:30PM.

 

6. Matthew Koma at Chaos Manila

What to expect: The American singer, songwriter, and DJ will be in Manila to perform some of his best tracks. Having collaborated with EDM DJs Zedd, Alesso, Hardwell, and Tiesto, Matthew Koma is also a big name to watch out for in the EDM scene.

Must-do: Party along with Koma’s chart topping beats, along with music from Chaos Manila resident DJ’s David Ardiente and Jet Borado.

7. Jason Derulo and Redfoo Live in Manila

What to expect: Aside from being Jason Derulo's return to the Philippines, Redfoo, best known as the other half of electro-pop dance duo LMFAO, will be accompanying Derulo for his second concert in the Philippines.

Must-listen: Make sure to familiarize yourself with Derulo's hit songs, which include "Wiggle," "Whatcha Say," "Talk Dirty," "In My Head," and many more!

8. Jersey Boys the Musical

What to expect: This Tony, Olivier, and Grammy Award-winning musical, which is based on the story of the legendary American doo-wop group Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, will be having a run in Manila based on a brand new production. The Manila leg will have Nyoy Volante and Christian Bautista as its main cast.

Must-do: Better save up, as tickets to this musical will be on sale starting May 24. Do note that there will only be a total of 15 shows for its Manila run.
