What makes it unique: Each station in Walkway is interactive, and visitors can participate in the activities offered in each station. These include carrying the cross (literally!), nailing a black piece of cloth to a cross, and writing one’s personal reflections on pieces of paper.

2. Kamay ni Hesus
What makes it unique: The five-hectare area boasts of the world’s third tallest Risen Christ statue, measuring a towering 50 feet. Those who will troop here get an instant cardio workout, too, as they will have to ascend 305 steps in order to see the Ascending Christ statue upclose.

3. Calvary Hills
What makes it unique: Aside from having life-sized statues depicting the suffering and death of Jesus Christ, this pilgrimage site sits on 11 hectares of rolling hills, and has a nice view of Cagayan River. The way the place is designed closely resembles the place where Jesus Christ carried the cross on his shoulders.

4. Marian Orchard
What makes it unique: The area has religious structures surrounded with flowers of various colors, a setup that will remind you of religious shrines in Europe, specifically Italy. Highlights of this five-hectare area include a replica of Brazil’s Christ the Redeemer and a spectacular view of Taal lake.

5. Banal Na Bunduk Dalan Ning Krus (Holy Mountain Way of the Cross)
What makes it unique: Its location is at the base of Mt. Arayat, which is considered a mystical mountain. The first station can be found at the base of the mountain, and visitors get to go uphill for every station thereafter, giving them the option to trek further after the last station, until they reach the summit

6. Kawa-Kawa Hill
What makes it unique: The park has larger-than life statues depicting the Stations of the Cross that can rival sculptures seen in Europe. The locations of these statues are also nteresting, as they are lined up in the hill’s 500 meter path to its crater, which is 836 meters in diameter.
