Throwback Treasure: A Look Back On Halloween 2016 With Our Fave Celebs

October is here! It’s finally that time of the year when people stretch their imagination and creativity to create the perfect Halloween costume. Deciding on a Halloween costume can be a tough decision to make especially for those who love this holiday with a passion.

Last year, many of our biggest celebrities dressed up as some of the most iconic characters on TV and film. So, before we look forward to what they have in store for us this year, let’s look back on our favourite stars’ Halloween costumes in 2016!

Last year, these two turned to video games for costume ideas. The power couple showed their love for the Final Fantasy series by dressing up as Lightning and Nyx Ulric.

2. Anne Curtis

The Netflix series Stranger Things swept the whole world by storm. Even our very own Anne Curtis dressed up as Eleven when she spent her Halloween in the city that never sleeps.

3. Coleen Garcia & Billy Crawford

We love to turn to Tim Burton movies because they're great sources of inspirations for costumes. Star couple Billy and Coleen apparently agree as they went all out as Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice!

4. Arci Muñoz

Nostalgia levels were off the charts as Arci Munoz revealed her Sailor Moon costume for 2016. Anime fans surely rejoiced!

5. Bea Alonzo & Gerald Anderson

With Bea dressed as DC's Wonder Woman and Gerald as Marvel's Iron Man, these two prove that true love can unite two different universes.

6. Kim Chiu

Because Kim Chiu is actually of Chinese descent, social justice warriors couldn't call her out for cultural appropriation when she dressed up as Chun Li from Street Fighter last year.

If you haven’t figured out which character to dress up as, we hope our favourite celebrities inspired you or at least point you to the right direction. Let us know which celebs you're excited to see this Halloween!
