How was your weekend? Was it a chill one, and you were just on your bed for a much-deserved break from the weekday grind?
Or did you spend it instead partying the night away with some friends?
Many, though, took partying to a whole new level at a fun-filled weekend in Puerto Galera for Malasimbo Music and Arts Festival 2017. For three days, visitors were treated to art installations, a variety of music including a "silent disco"—all within Puerto Galera, amid its beautiful beach.
Here’s how people enjoyed this year’s festivities:
Blogger couple David Guison and Vina Guerrero attended the festival for the second straight year, and credit Malasimbo Festival for their love story. How sweet!
Blogger Kim Cruz went for a quick photoshoot by the beach before heading to the festival grounds.
Tessa Prieto-Valdes loved the many art installations found at the festival grounds.
Publicist Charmaine Palermo likewise loved the installations as well.
TV/events host Jinno Rufino and model Fabio Ide loved the idea of Malasimbo’s “silent disco”—a type of party where music is heard through headphones instead of speakers.
Actress Alex Godinez was in awe of the lighting's trippy effect.
DJ Moophs was one of the Pinoy talents who wowed the audience.
Cutie Curtismith performed his newest song "Soully Yours" here for the first time!
Ex-Eraserheads frontman Ely Buendia brought in the funk with his band Apartel during day 1 of Malasimbo Festival.
Indie singer June Marieezy may have performed her "last June Marieezy" show, but she hints that she is "transforming" and getting ready to release new music in the future.
