Let’s call her Miss Perfect, if we may: Katrina is a student-athlete, a freelance model, and a beauty pageant favorite. She currently plays open spiker-slash-utility for Mapua’s Women’s Volleyball Team, a spot her PE teacher offered her back in her freshman year. Though she was quite reluctant to take it at first, she realized she needed to be more involved in extra-curricular activities.
Katrina’s towering height, 5’7”, and charming features also led her to become a model and participate in beauty pageants. She was part of inter- and intra-university contests such as Mr. & Ms. Cardinals in 2014 and Mr. & Ms. Psychology 2013 (where she reaped special awards), and Miss NCAA 2014 (where she won first runner-up). Now, she’s preparing for another pageant to be held in her hometown of Bulacan.
How, exactly, does she manage? Katrina says she relies on her organizational and time management skills to put her in the best position to meet all of her commitments. “I feel that it is really important to not waste your time on things that are useless,” she declares. “We should all use our time wisely.” Ultimately, Katrina dreams of becoming an actress, professional model, or flight attendant. With her standout looks and pure guts, there’s definitely no doubt she’d achieve this!
