Alamat Filipino Pub & Deli's doors open on the second floor at 5666 Don Pedro Street, just above Bucky's in Brgy. Poblacion, Makati just after the sunset hour at 6PM. What you can expect to taste is an array of carefully combined native flavors that help you ease into the dark hours like no other place in Makati.
Available at Alamat are locally brewed beers, native charcuterie, reinvented pulutan, and exotic comfort meals that may even rival some of your favorite tapas by far. Some of their artisan sausages and prepared meats are available to order, by request depending on stock on hand.

Chef Niño Laus shares that the chilled hidden room of beer kegs behind the beer taps took up more space than they imagined but it was all worth it. The early or after dinner crowds that gather at Alamat come to chat and relax, drink, and heartily sample their curated local fare.

Chef Owner Niño Laus, also a part-owner of our previously featured more laid-back establishment, Merkanto, takes late night merry-making up a couple of notches with a whole lot of art, barstools, native beer, and local flavors this time.
SISIG SAUSAGE platter, with pickled red cabbage, Alaminos, Beer pairing: FISH RIDER, Pale Ale, ABV 6.8%, Brewer: Joes Brew, Manila. A copper colored beer with an orange citrus aroma and hints of grapefruit. (This was my favorite plate of the evening, I cleaned the plate pretty much by myself.) My mother's only comment is that it doesn't taste exactly like local sisig but she agrees it is a very good flavorful sausage.
