The fact that good music transcends generations has been proven true, yet again, when fans of all ages came together to witness the performance of iconic OPM rock band, The Dawn, on stage for their digital concert under One Music entitled “The Dawn: Simulan Na Natin” presented by San Miguel Beer Pielsen last September 11, 2016.

Considered as one of the "longest-lived and most prolific rock bands in the Philippines," the group, composed of lead vocalist Jett Pangan, bassist Carlos “Caloy” Balcells, guitarists Francis “Kiko” Reyes and Rommel Sanchez, and drummer JB Leonor, showed everyone that they still got it as they wowed the crowd by playing some of their hits such as "Simulan Na Natin," "Beep Beep," and "Salamat," just to name a few.

When you produce such great music, you can totally expect fans to be loyal, and fans of The Dawn have been as loyal as fans can get. Some of their really hardcore fans even brought with them classic The Dawn memorabilia, from vintage vinyl records, cassette tapes, album posters, to old photos of band members fans have captured all throughout the years.

Rocking the OPM scene for decades now, The Dawn celebrates its 30th year anniversary this year, and if the the success of their first-ever digital concert is any indication, then it seems like the band is ready to rock for many more years or possibly, decades, to come.
