Daily Diaries: Totally Cool and Creative Ways Duterte Supporters Show Their Love for The President

To commemorate his ascendancy to the presidency, President Rodrigo Duterte's supporters found totally creative ways to show just how much they love and support him:

 

1. A hand-painted oil portrait of the president made by Davao-based artist Daryl Descallar, which can now be found inside Malacañan Palace:

 

2. Duterte’s inaugural barong, designed by Davao-based designer Chard Pulatche of Chardin:

 

3. A photo exhibit showcasing Duterte through the years, all taken by photojournalist Rene Lumawag, who covered Duterte’s 25-year long political career in Davao.

 

4. An 8-inch tri-colored burger called El Presidente, sold at Wild Onion Pub and Grub, a restaurant in Cagayan de Oro City:

 

5. A series of action figures styled to channel Duterte (gestures, attire, and all), designed by toy customizer Dennis Mendoza:

 

6. This cool latte art from The Bunny Baker, which perfectly captured Duterte’s face:

 

7. A watermelon with a carving of Duterte’s face in his trademark pose, made by the "Celebrity Chef of Albay” Jang Melgar Grageda, who currently works in Thailand:
