For exhibitors from Cagayan Valley, Laguna, Albay, and Davao, it’s their time to shine once again at Manila FAME’s Artisans Village—this time, renowned lifestyle designer PJ Arañador will aid them in improving their livelihood of export-quality handicrafts.

Armed with 25 years of experience designing products and being exposed to the global design industry, Arañador will be mentoring exhibitors in crafting their products, from product development to product prototyping. In addition, he will be coaching the exhibitors on the ins and outs of the export business, and on protecting their business from fraud and copyright infringement.
Arañador cites that the resourcefulness of Filipinos enables them to create pieces that stand out from among the sea of other handicraft products abroad. “With so much less, we become very creative. And I think that’s a good position because crafts are after all made by hand,” Arañador notes.
Here's a preview of products from Davao, Laguna, Cagayan and Albay that can be seen in the 63rd Manila FAME.
