1. Don't just have personal spaces, have a shared space as well. A shared space dedicated to something you and your partner both love allows you to celebrate your union away from the other areas in the house that you associate with busyness. Yeng Constantino and Yan Asuncion are firm believers of compartmentalizing and have allocated individual spaces in their 43 SqM, four floor townhouse in Quezon City for their personal belongings, and a shared space, in the form of a music studio, for their bonding sessions. “Sabay kami nag-decide [on the design],” shared Yeng to Kris Aquino on Kris TV.

2. Find (or build!) the perfect shelf for your belongings. As much as Janice de Belen loves spoiling her children with toys, she's also very particular when it comes to having the proper shelves and cabinets for these gifts. "I don’t like things that are not organized kasi masisira at mawawala [yung mga bigay ko sa kanila],” Janice said on Kris TV. While she mentioned that she bought her shelves at Ikea, you can also actually build your own shelves from leftover wood you have at home [related: DIY Tricks: Personalized Shelves from Old Wood].
3. Use your fridge as a perfume bank. Singer Jed Madela attests to how practical this storage technique is. “Para tumagal ‘yung amoy… kaya hindi ko sila dinadala [sa labas],” Jed explains to Kris. This method of perfume storage is ideal for tropical countries like the Philippines. Plus, you get to save on regular shelf space, too!
4. Maximize the use of corkboards. They can not only hold bills and notes, but even your self-made directory of important contacts for your family members and household staff in case of emergencies. Coco Martin has a board at home containing all the important numbers his staff needs to remember. “For example, kapag nasira yung sa music, alam nila sino tatawagan kahit wala ako,” Coco said on Kris TV.
