Wearing black and white has become the standard formula to look cool and as Karl Lagerfeld once said, “black and white always looks modern, whatever that word means.” While the season proposes a wide variety of trends to choose from, often we find ourselves going back to whatever is tried and tested. But to keep things up-to-date, a little play on pattern goes a long way. Bold graphic prints in the monochromatic palette win as the best update to the classic dressing formula. Don’t be afraid to mix patterns, remember: The wilder, the better. A crimson pout and of-the-moment boots are all you’ll need to be the season’s style setter.
TONED DOWN CHIC. Subdue your look when you choose your prints in smaller sizes. An all-white palette with demure black patterns is a great alternative.
