Workout Wisdom: 15-20 Minute Routines Proven Effective by Fitness Experts

We know you have your fitness resolutions this year and we want to help you achieve that so we have interviewed fitness experts to share their tried-and-tested, no fuss workout routines. Read on for two effective sets for a. the couch potato, and b. the gym regular:

If you are usually at home or have no time to go to the gym, this routine from Nikki Torres, Yoga and Dance Fitness Instructor, suits you.

1 minute Burpees

1 minute Split Squats

1 minute Alternating Wide-elbowed and Tricep Pushups

1 minute Side Plank Dips (30 seconds per side)

1 minute Supine Leg Lifts

Then repeat 3-4 times.

 

If you have equipment at home or you have spare time to go to the gym, you may try this routine recommended by Rachelle Que, an Indoor Cycling Instructor.

5 rounds of 5 snatches

10 chest to bar pull-ups

15 handstand push-ups (or L-seated kettle bell press)
