Spending a spooktacular Saturday afternoon with family, friends, and pets is a good way to relax over one’s hectic schedules, which had been evident with Night Sky Cinema’s Furry Tales. On October 24, Nuvali’s The Fields was jam-packed with people and dogs as they indulge in a day of fun and relaxation for people, and pampering for their pet dogs.
The pre-Halloween event had several children and dogs dressed up in various costumes, from Dora the Explorer to aswangs. In addition to children and dogs in costumes, children are treated to face paintings, while dogs were treated to free grooming, ranging from nail trimming to doggy massages. In addition, children get to enjoy the inflatable castle present at the open grounds while others showcase their wacky side at the photo booth area.

Early in the afternoon, two contests were held, namely Me and My Furry Friend Howl-O-Win, where pets and their owners dress up with matching costumes, and Tell a Tale, where children dress up in their scariest or cutest costumes. In addition to these main contests, there were minor contests held, in which participants get to bring home goodies from Night Sky Cinema’s sponsors.

As the night arrived, everyone placed their mats on the ground to enjoy watching movies outdoors to cap off Furry Tales. Movies such as Hotel Transylvania, How to Train Your Dragon, and Marley & Me were shown on an outdoor screen, to the enjoyment of everyone for the night.
