Here's your hairstyle buddy on days when you've got so much on your plate and you don't want to think about your tresses anymore: The tousled topknot. Celebrity hairstylist John Valle, who fabulously put up Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita actress Denise Laurel's hair in a more sophisticated (but effortless) version of the usual bun, gives us this easy guide:
"Use dry shampoo or hairspray to add texture before tying your hair in a ponytail at the back of your head. Twist it into a bun, secure with bobby pins, and undo a bit (loosen some strands from the topknot) using your fingers instead of a brush for a tousled look."
This 'do will not only last you the whole day, but will look even better as you go through your routine because your movements, the wind, and other external factors actually give it more character. It's a great contrast to an otherwise polished ensemble, indicating that while you're put-together, you've got loads of energy and is still 100% au naturel.
