There are many elements inside a kitchen, such that one might be overwhelmed by it. Fear no more! Here are three quick tips in having a smart kitchen amidst the several elements present within the kitchen space:
1. Always label ingredients, including the date of expiration. Labels are a big help all the time as they make you avoid mixing up ingredients. In addition, labels also will help you keep track on the freshness of your ingredients, making sure that you use them before they expire.
2. Segregate pantry items. Segregation is part of having a smart kitchen as it helps you be more efficient in looking for the right ingredients at the right time. In addition, segregation also ensures you that ingredients do not cross-contaminate with one another.
3. Invest in good knives and pans. Yes, the saying is true: quality equipment will last a long time, especially if you take good care of them. Simple maintenance tasks such as oiling boards, sharpening knives and seasoning pans will always put your kitchen equipment in top shape.
